Frequently asked questions
Yes, our strips are designed specifically for 3D fence panels (with embossing). They are available in narrow (44-62 mm) for panels with smaller mesh and wide (62-80 mm) for panels with larger mesh. In most standard panels, the mesh opening is 44-62 mm, so the narrow version usually fits.
Measure the mesh opening width in your fence panel, meaning the gap between two vertical wires. Measure horizontally between the inner edges of the wires. If the opening is 4.4-6.2 cm (44-62 mm), choose narrow strips. If it is 6.2-8 cm (62-80 mm), choose wide strips. Most standard fence panels have openings of 4.4-6.2 cm, so the narrow version usually fits.
A panel mesh opening is the gap between two vertical wires. Hold a ruler or tape measure horizontally between the wires and measure the distance between their inner edges. If the result is 44-62 mm, choose the narrow version. If it is 62-80 mm, choose the wide version.
Installation is very simple and requires no special tools. Slide the vertical strips from the top into the panel mesh, then insert the aluminium pegs into the holes at the top of each strip and mount the horizontal blocking strips in the 3D embossments. One person can install a set on one panel in about 30 minutes.
Each complete set contains: vertical strips (39 wide or 50 narrow), horizontal blocking strips (2 or 3 depending on height), mounting pegs, and a top covering strip. One set covers a single panel span of 250 cm width.
One set is enough for one 250 cm long fence panel. Count the number of panels in your fence and order the same number of sets.
Add up the total width of all sections you want to fill. For every full 250 cm, choose 1 ready-made set in the correct height and strip width, because it includes the vertical strips and the full set of mounting accessories. Fill the remaining width with single strips in the same colour and height.
Yes. The strips are made from high-quality plastic resistant to rain, snow, frost, and UV radiation. They do not fade, rust, or require maintenance. They come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
Our strips are made from polyethylene (PE) with UV stabilisers. The colour is infused throughout the material, making it durable and resistant to fading. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty, and actual durability spans many years without visible colour change.
The strips require no special maintenance. If dirty, simply wash them with a garden hose or use a pressure washer on low setting. No painting, varnishing, or impregnation needed.
Yes, we will produce strips to any custom size. If you need a height other than the standard 123, 133, 153, or 173 cm, get in touch with us - we will prepare an individual quote and confirm the lead time.
No, the strips are resistant to frost, snow, and rain. They withstand temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. You can safely leave them on the fence all year round without any maintenance.
The strips are flexible and hold firmly in the fence thanks to the slide-in system and horizontal blocking strips. In strong wind they may flex slightly, but they will not fall out of the panel. This is an important advantage over PVC tapes, which can tear out.
By default, the top covering strip is packed in 2 pieces of 125 cm - this keeps the parcel within standard courier limits and makes transport easier. Joining the two pieces on the panel is simple and the seam is almost invisible. If you prefer to receive the strip in one 250 cm piece, select the "250 cm long-length shipping" option in the cart (available for sets and covering strips, fixed cost). Please note that long-length shipping is not eligible for the free-shipping threshold.
Straw strips are made of smooth polyethylene (PE) that does not retain dirt. If dirty, simply rinse them with water. The light colour does not require more frequent cleaning than dark shades.
